As an Analyst/Associate in our Credit Transaction Management team, you will work closely with Corporate Banking ("CB") and Global Markets ("GM") Sales \& Trading to support the growth of the corporate loan book and trading businesses. You will manage a portfolio of borrowers within the Global Credit division of RBC Capital Markets and collaborate with other groups within Capital Markets and the Bank to deliver comprehensive credit and banking services to large and multinational corporate clients.

What will you do?
You will be responsible for administering an assigned portfolio of borrowers, including multinational and large corporate lending relationships, and will support various Corporate Banking teams. Your key responsibilities include:

Corporate Banking (CB) Support: Provide transactional support such as credit transaction requests (new credit, refinancing, renewals, covenant waivers, loan documentation reviews), drafting loan proposals, and cash management requests.

Portfolio Transaction Management: Review and approve draw down requests, develop expertise in assigned portfolio policies, ensure compliance with Bank Policies, and participate in regulatory/audit deliverables.

Annual Reviews: Complete timely reviews of existing credit relationships, maintaining high-quality work.

Data Integrity: Ensure credit agreement terms are accurately reflected in the Bank's systems and all documentation is reviewed and accounted for promptly.

Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with Corporate Banking, Group Risk Management, and Funding and Lending Services teams.

Other Responsibilities: Complete ad-hoc projects and duties efficiently, including presenting to stakeholders to support team demands.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:

Strong academic credentials, including a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.

Optional but advantageous: MBA, CPA, CFA, or postgraduate degrees in relevant fields.

1-5 years of relevant experience in banking, corporate lending, finance, risk management, or credit proposal writing.

Highly motivated, detail-oriented, with a keen interest in corporate finance and credit.

Ability to understand complex legal documents such as loan agreements and security documents.

Strong credit and analytical skills to assess financial statements and client reports critically.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team and interact at all organizational levels.

Prioritization skills, ability to perform under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in PC skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
