Intern Architect/Designer (On-Site) ZO1 Architects is a progressive architectural firm specializing in small to large-scale, high-density and multi-phase developments from concept design to construction completion. We are a group of passionate architects and interior designers who has extensive design and development experience in the Greater Toronto
Area. We are currently working on a wide range of projects from low to high-rise to large-scale mixed-use development. We are specialized in residential, senior living, long-term care, retail commercial, luxury hotel and office.
Most of our projects are working directly with established developers or non-profit organization in the Greater Toronto Area.

- Bachelors of Architecture Degree and/or a Master of Architecture or Bachelors of Interior Design
- Able to communicate concept by sketches and develop/ execute in Revit.
3-5 years of professional Revit experience.
- Proficiency in Revit is mandatory; experience with additional software (e.g., SketchUp, Navisworks) is an asset.
- High proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and construction detailing.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Architectural Design is considered an asset.
- OAA Intern certification or eligibility and intent is a must.
- Proficient knowledge in the use of building materials and related construction techniques
- Able to produce sketches for plan/ section details to communicate the details how design brief/ intent, bylaws requirement and envelope building science are met
- Able to take the lead to develop zoning and SPA level design
- Able to understand the design brief by understanding client brief, research on various bylaws, OBC
