Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist | Tailoring Talent Solutions to Meet Business Needs | Specializing in IT, Engineering, and FinTech Industry

Location: Toronto, ON_Hybrid

Duration: 6+ months (extendable contract)

Qualifications and Experience:

University degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related discipline, with 7+ years of progressively responsible experience working on large-scale IT projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive experience (7+ years) with Systems/Data Migration Projects, especially involving legacy systems transitioning to COTS Platforms, including data profiling, mapping, transformation, and validation processes.
Hands-on experience (5+ years) with SQL and ETL, including writing SQL queries and designing/executing ETL processes to move and reconcile data between old and new systems.
Familiarity with data governance principles, data profiling, and ensuring data integrity during migration. Ability to define quality checks, identify data anomalies, and support resolution strategies.
Experience in a government/public sector setting on modernization projects.
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and project stakeholders, demonstrating strong customer service orientation, interpersonal skills, and effective communication.

Technical Capabilities:

7+ years of experience in similar or larger initiatives with extensive use of SQL and UML.
5+ years of experience preparing project documentation such as Data Profiling, Data Mapping, Data Quality Documents, and related artifacts.
5+ years designing, developing, and executing ETL specifications and scripts.
Experience supporting Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), security threats, and related compliance.
