The North West Company is hiring pharmacy assistants to support remote communities in northern Canada. This is a relocation position, and if you are selected, NWC will provide full financial and logistical relocation support. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Please note that this position is only open to candidates who are already certified by a college or online pharmacy technician school, AND have two or more years of experience as a pharmacy assistant.

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist the Pharmacist with prescription filling and administrative duties, supporting patient care and pharmacy operations as a team member.
Your Role :
- Receive prescriptions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal/regulatory requirements;
- Perform data entry, price checks, and report generation using pharmacy systems;
- Fill prescriptions under supervision;
- Select, measure, and prepare products;
- Label prescriptions and organize for the Pharmacist;
- Assist with cognitive services and inventory control;
- Maintain stock levels and check for expired medications;
- Organize supplies and clerical tasks.
Desired Skills \& Experience :
- Certification from a college or online pharmacy technician program;
- At least two years of pharmacy assistant experience;
- Experience with report generation, receipts, invoices, and filing;
- Experience with medication preparation and delivery;
- Ability to work independently;
- Proficiency with Kroll pharmacy management system;
- Experience in retail or administration is a plus;
- Strong communication skills;
