Job Title: Forecast \& Purchasing Analyst - Manufacturing
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Forecast \& Purchasing Analyst to support both demand forecasting and procurement planning in a manufacturing environment. This hybrid role ensures alignment between forecasted demand and purchasing activities to optimize inventory levels, support production, and improve supply chain efficiency. Strong ERP and Excel skills are essential for success in this role.

Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm (40 h/week)
Reporting to: Director of Operations

Key Responsibilities:
Forecasting \& Demand Planning:
- Analyze sales trends, production data, and market inputs to create accurate short- and long-term forecasts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Sales, Finance) to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business needs.
- Develop and maintain forecasting tools and models using Excel and ERP system.
- Track forecast accuracy, report variances, and refine models to improve performance.
- Communicate forecast insights and risks to stakeholders and participate in S\&OP (Sales \& Operations Planning) processes.
Purchasing \& Procurement Support:
- Translate demand forecasts into actionable purchase plans for raw materials and components.
- Monitor inventory levels and safety stock to ensure optimal supply without overstocking or stockouts.
- Issue and track purchase orders in ERP systems and maintain accurate vendor and item data.
- Work with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, resolve issues, and manage lead times.
- Analyze pricing trends and cost drivers to support sourcing decisions and cost savings initiatives.
Administrative Support:
- Create and update product information in ERP
- Prepare and maintain reports on purchasing activities and product performance for management.
- Update landed costs and purchase prices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning, or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Strong hands-on experience with ERP systems (Netsuite (preferred), SAP, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, dashboards).
· Solid understanding of supply chain processes, and inventory management principles.
· Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Experience working in manufacturing is an advantage.
