Overview
The Recruiting Coordinator works closely with the recruitment, employee development, and training teams to transition a candidate to an employee. Manages candidate onboarding with various stakeholders to support aviation staffing requirements while ensuring an efficient onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain onboarding of candidates to support staffing timelines and enrollment details.
- Track, monitor, and process documentation related to new candidates accurately and timely.
- Complete background and reference checks to ensure employment compliance.
- Coordinate start dates for part-time pre-certified officers and offer employment to interested candidates.
- Liaise with airport authority pass offices for security clearances and track results.
- Coordinate enrollment into SOF training, ensuring class capacity meets client requirements.
- Conduct onboarding tasks for new hires, including creating EIDs and distributing New Hire Packages/payroll documents.
- Analyze recruitment data such as application rates, success rates, and withdrawal rates with the recruitment team.
- Work with HR to ensure candidates have all necessary documents before transitioning to employees.
- Transfer recruitment documents to HR for personnel files.
- Adhere to organizational systems, processes, and policies.
- Participate in safety practices and ensure compliance with safety policies, liaising with Health and Safety teams.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in recruitment/onboarding processes.
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Ability to develop and implement action plans.
- Strong planning and organizational skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, effective communication, and adaptability.
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) is required; English skills are an asset.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations.
- Strong teamwork commitment.
- Understanding of aviation security screening and recruitment compliance processes.
