Job Description Accountant / Bookkeeper Location New Minas, NS :
Vibrant growing business in New Minas (Annapolis Valley) has an immediate need for an accountant/bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting for the two businesses that we operate.
One business operates three commercial property rentals, and the other is a semi-trailer repair, sales and rental business. This is not an entry level position and requires someone with experience and knowledge. Responsibilities include payroll, government remittances, invoices, accounts payable, accounts receivable, knowledge of spreadsheets and all entries to be prepared for our financial year end reviews.
Knowledge of Sage Accounting is recommended; however, we use an industry specific software system for the semi-trailer business. Salary is to be negotiated upon experience and knowledge; medical/dental benefits are available, along with an RRSP match program.
