About The Opportunity
- Ensures compliance with all regulations related to Building Systems
- Supports a best in class maintenance team responsible for the Shannex buildings and surrounding grounds
- Oversees regional facilities operations, maintenance and repairs including but not limited to, building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing , energy and utilities
- Collaborates with peers and leadership to develop and maintain appropriate policies for maintenance
- Analyzes monthly scorecards/dashboards as relates to facilities management and the computerized maintenance management system
- Develops and maintains a current Strategic Asset Master Plan for the region which supports the short and long terms goals of the strategic plan
- Leads the development of long-range capital and major renovation budget planning for the assigned Region including building detailed cases for large capital expenditures
- Provides direct and/or oversight project management for maintenance and capital projects as required and consistent with provincial building code and requirements
- Research and implement new and innovative building system technologies
- Ensure the operational efficiency of the online maintenance system
About You
- Engineering Degree, Engineering Technologies, PEng, Chief Engineer, 4th Class Building Operator License, CEM, PMP, LEED, WELL, CMVP, BOMA/BOMI qualifications OR demonstrated Experience
- 5-10 Years progressive experience in facilities management
- 5 Years experience in regional management or multi-site management
- Experience in the transitioning of construction projects to the operations team
- Exposure and detailed knowledge of mechanical design, installation and commissioning.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE guides
- A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
- Ability to travel to various sites across the organization
