Business Administration | Human Resources Management
Primary Scope of Role:
- Field inspection and testing of concrete.
- Field testing to include sampling and coring of concrete.
- Thermocouple temperature monitoring, installation, and data collection.
- Assist in proper care, control, and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
- Complete field inspection reports and pour summaries as per company policies and/or contract requirements, advising supervisors and site staff of any non-conformances and deviations.
- Perform other duties as instructed.
Position Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in a 2- or 3-year college program such as Civil / Construction Engineering or equivalent is an asset but not required.
- CCIL or ACI concrete certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years concrete testing experience on commercial, industrial, or road building projects within Canada.
- Ability to use and maintain hand and power tools.
- Valid G (or equivalent) driver's license and a clean driver's abstract.
- Able to perform heavy lifting (>25kg).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel between projects.
- Willingness to perform shift work, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to work long shifts and extended hours.
