Human Resources Generalist - Role Details:Contract Type: 3-month temporary contract Pay Rate: $33-$35/hour (based on experience)Hours: Full-time, Monday to FridayLocation: On-site Human Resources Generalist - Responsibilities:Conduct internal investigations and employee meetings, escalating matters to HR leadership when required
Lead or support employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary documentation
Manage full-cycle recruitment for administrative roles; assist with hiring for production roles
Support the rollout of HR policies, procedures, and internal communications
Respond to employee inquiries and provide guidance on employment standards and workplace policies
Support WSIB claim management and return-to-work coordination as needed
Administer attendance management initiatives and provide reporting or support as needed
Facilitate or support internal training programs
Offer mentorship and day-to-day support to junior HR team members Human Resources Generalist - Qualifications3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or related fieldCHRP or CHRL designation (or in progress) is preferred
Experience working in unionized and/or manufacturing environments is an asset
Strong knowledge of employment legislation and WSIB processes
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
