Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage and optimize our transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule vehicle pick-ups and deliveries with transport companies and internal departments
- Build and maintain strong relationships with transport vendors, negotiating service agreements and rates
- Ensure all transport providers meet regulatory and safety requirements, including insurance and licensing standards
- Resolve delivery delays, damage claims, and other transport-related issues
- Analyze transport costs and negotiate rates to maximize cost-efficiency
- Track and assess vendor performance metrics, including delivery times and service quality
- Verify and process transport invoices for accuracy and ensure timely payment to vendors
- Generate reports on transport activity, costs, and performance trends for management review
- Communicate with dealership teams to ensure transport aligns with inventory needs and timelines
- Work with transport providers to identify and implement efficient routes for vehicle delivery
- Utilize software tools like Smart Sheet, GPS tracking, or transport management systems to enhance operational efficiency
