We are seeking an experienced Senior Ovation (High-Net-Worth) Claims Adjuster.
This role will be hybrid, offering the flexibility of both remote and in-office work.
What You'll Do
- Investigate and negotiate high-net-worth auto and property claims in accordance with Aviva's standards.
- Manage payments to vendors, customers, and experts.
- Maintain data accuracy in Aviva systems.
- Analyze claims estimates, negotiate, and settle claims.
- Interpret and apply policy coverage related to the loss.
- Communicate policy coverage and benefits to customers.
- Investigate and document cause of loss and claim value.
- Work in a low-volume phone queue environment as a first responder.
- Review and approve vendor estimates for repairs or replacements.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
- Acquire and maintain appropriate provincial adjuster licenses.
- Manage customer relationships and claim outcomes.
- Coordinate fieldwork when necessary.
- Identify and react to exposures during storm and disaster events.
- Ensure financial elements of claims are managed effectively.
- Identify and report suspicions of fraud or irregularities.
- Continuously improve customer experience and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 4+ years of first-party claims handling experience.
- Experience with high-net-worth or VIP claims preferred.
- Proficiency with claims management software such as CoreLogic, Xactanalysis, Xactimate, etc.
- Industry designation like CIP or FCIP is preferred.
- Relevant educational background or equivalent experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal insurance.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer proficiency.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Adjusting licenses for certain provinces are assets.
