Role Mandate: As an Associate on the Distribution Strategy team, you will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing the distribution of BMO mutual funds, ETFs, and other investment products. Reporting to the Head of Distribution Strategy, you will work closely with senior management, business line leaders, and stakeholders to deliver strategic advice through research, analysis, and recommendations. The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized, and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Role Responsibilities Include:
- Analyze distribution channels, sales trends, and market opportunities to inform strategy.
- Create reports, dashboards, models, and presentations to track performance metrics.
- Prepare materials for stakeholders, including senior management presentations.
- Maintain and verify accuracy of distribution data.
- Track compliance approvals and organize project updates.
- Conduct research on competitors, market conditions, and client needs to support business growth.
- Lead strategic projects, manage relationships, and support the bank's strategic planning.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in asset management, financial services, or related areas.
- Capital Markets experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative thinking and idea proposal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data-driven decision making.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Flexible working hours and ability to work independently.
- CSC or CFA certification is a plus.
Salary:
$62,300.00 - $115,500.00
