Are you ready to advance your hospitality career? Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a talented and dynamic Catering Sales Manager who shares our passion for excellence and enthusiasm.
About the role:
The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for booking catering events, overseeing client liaison, and building new client relationships. The role involves managing group and private clients, planning event details, ensuring smooth execution, and maintaining follow-up post-events.
What you will do:
- Respond to inquiries and actively seek new business to meet profitability and monthly goals.
- Create customized proposals based on clients' needs.
- Conduct memorable site inspections to showcase the hotel and maximize business through intuitive selling.
- Participate in sales, operations, and banquet meetings.
- Host event tastemakers regularly.
- Coordinate sales efforts with the catering team to optimize revenue.
- Finalize bookings, maximize revenue through upselling, and ensure accurate communication and billing.
- Keep the Director of Catering informed of potential challenges.
- Supervise banquet event execution, ensuring client satisfaction throughout.
What you will bring:
- 2-3 years of catering sales experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and make decisions quickly.
- Proficiency in Amadeus, Golden Sales \& Catering, Microsoft 365, and OPERA.
- Knowledge of Food \& Beverage is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, long hours, weekends, and evenings.
