We are seeking a skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join or Miramichi OSB plant. The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and implementing continuous improvement product quality and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Collect and analyze process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Provide technical support to production teams to process-related issues.
Lead or participate in capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing plant capabilities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Maintenance, Quality, and Operations, to achieve plant objectives.
Develop and deliver training programs for operators and other staff on process improvements and new technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree In Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical.
- Familiarity with process control
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
