Position: Automotive Technician (310S)
Collision Centre: Excellence Diagnostics Coatings
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Salary Range: $85,000-$120,000

This role offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with the latest technology, focusing on post-collision repair, calibration, and diagnostics. You will receive factory online and in-person training, utilizing advanced tools to ensure vehicles are repaired safely and to OEM standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspect critical vehicle components such as brakes, fuel systems, and engines.
- Repair or replace parts as needed.
- Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
Daily Tasks
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance efficiently and according to dealership and OEM standards.
- Communicate regularly with Parts and Service Advisors to manage repairs, cycle times, and customer communication.
- Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend repairs to ensure safety and reliability.
- Document all work accurately on repair orders, ensuring warranty payments are processed.
- Maintain an inventory of personal tools.
- Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training.
- Provide excellent customer service to foster loyalty and increase department revenue.
Minimum Requirements
- 310S and/or Red Seal Certification required.
- Apprentices ready to write are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of various makes and models.
- Post-secondary training or courses related to automotive repair.
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
