Responsibilities
* $15,000 Bonus Available for Full Time! *
The Staff RN reports to the OR Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services, and indirectly to the House Supervisor. Responsibilities include delivering direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, guiding OR Technicians and staff, and maintaining standards of professional nursing. The role involves collaborating with other departments, ensuring continuous quality care, efficient patient flow, and compliance with regulations and policies. Participation in performance improvement activities and acting as a resource to staff are also required.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certification, maintained current
- Current ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire, maintained current
- Current PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire, preferred
- Minimum of one year perioperative experience or equivalent on-the-job training
- CNOR certification (AORN) preferred
- BSN degree preferred
