Your new role
As the Director of Health \& Safety, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety programs across all company operations. You will lead a team of safety professionals, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing risks and enhancing the well-being of our employees and stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian health and safety regulations and standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety programs
