4-5-5 scheduler / 12 hour shifts / days-nights
Agilus is recruiting for a Emergency Response Technician
This is a skilled position that involves firefighting, technical rescue, and emergency and clinical medical care within the industrial setting as a member of the Emergency Services Department. Successful individuals will be able to work in a high functioning team environment, with the ability to rapidly, efficiently and safely perform duties under high risk emergency conditions involving considerable hazard. Role will also include routine duties in the maintenance of firefighting equipment, apparatus and the on-site breathing air program.
A typical day:
- Respond to all emergency calls on site.
- Provide technical rescue in various high angle and confined space situations.
- Provide emergency medical care to patients within their scope of practice.
- Perform various maintenance and tasks related to equipment and apparatus
- Ability to work 12hr shifts, days/nights
- Drive and operate firefighting and medical apparatus.
Successful candidates will have:
- Registered Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) OR Registered Primary Care Paramedic (PCP)
- NFPA 1001 - Level I \&II Certification
- NFPA 1072 - Haz Mat - Operations
- Current BLS Provider
- 3-5 years' experience in the pre-hospital or emergent setting
- NFPA 1006 - Rope Rescue Technician or equivalent
