Seeking an administrative star to support NAIT students! In this role, you'll report to the Pathways Facilitator and be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to various teams in the Office of the Registrar. You will primarily support work in our Pathways area, including assisting with the coordination of dual credit courses and articulation agreements. During busy periods in the academic cycle, you may also support the Admissions, Records, Domestic Recruitment and Student Awards \& Financial Aid Units with a variety of administrative tasks. In this role, you'll be responsible for tasks such as completing forms, maintaining aspects of the student record, and providing event support and set up. If you have strong attention to detail, an ability to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines, and can work both independently and as part of a team - this role may be for you!
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule dual credit courses and support the enrolment and withdrawal of students

Manage administrative tasks for articulation agreements and other pathways

Provide administrative support to the Office of the Registrar coordinators

Perform administrative tasks within the Office of the Registrar, such as: preparing and distributing student records materials, completing forms, data entry, assisting with application maintenance tasks, etc.

Assist with recruitment activities and events (such as event set-up and take-down)
Skills \& Abilities:
-
Computer and office skills, including strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and other common office applications

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to prioritize activities within deadlines and adapt to ongoing changes, including shifting between teams

Strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with contacts internal and external to NAIT

Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced team setting

Ability to lift 25 lbs and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings
Qualifications:
-
Completion of grade 12
-
Post-secondary certificate or diploma desirable
-
Previous experience working in post-secondary or in an administrative support role that required, following policies and procedures

Equivalencies may be considered
Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration: $40,123.20 - $51,603.24 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (Classification - Administrative Support III).
This position is covered by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) Collective Agreement.
