Job Description/Responsibilities:
The Director of Fundraising and Donations Procurement is responsible for creating and executing a five-year fundraising plan that supports the Agency's strategic goals.
Responsibilities:

Focus on developing accelerated revenue growth from fundraising and enhanced donor engagement, particularly for long-term and in-kind donations to support the Agency's future capital redevelopment.

Develop a 5-year fundraising plan for the Agency

Oversee the coordination and execution of fundraising events, including but not limited to galas, online auctions, and community events, in coordination with volunteers and staff to ensure success.

Create a cohesive brand message for Agency fundraising appeals, with a strategic emphasis on legacy giving, with a particular focus on individual donors.

Establish and manage donor database while building community and GTA partnerships for in-kind donation procurement.

Lead and work with departments and programs across the organization and respond to current and emerging community needs.

Participate in all relevant committees and meetings.

Ensure compliance with SCCC's policies and procedures, including the Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Policy and Health \& Safety policies, while maintaining confidentiality and minimizing risk.

Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in fundraising, nonprofit/business administration, marketing, public relations, communications or a related discipline

Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification an asset.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years' experience in meeting fundraising targets, executing fundraising initiatives and successfully managing relationships with donors and board/committee volunteers preferred

Demonstrated experience in supporting capital and annual fundraising campaigns required

Experience in promoting fundraising appeals through social media \& mail campaigns is required

Experience in writing grants and proposals to foundations to multilevel government agencies an asset

Capacity to oversee implementation, drive growth along the donor giving continuum

Extensive knowledge of Canadian fundraising trends, methods, and principles

Excellent written, verbal and communication skills; ability to be creative, problem-solve and network

Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late evenings as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $81,000.00-$99,000.00 per year
