As a Junior Project Manager within Project Delivery, you will be managing the end-to-end delivery of operational or group projects with support from leader as required that address changes and developments aligned to RAC’s purpose, vision, and mission. This role can be either a 12-month maximum term or a secondment opportunity. What will you be doing? End-to-end project control – own schedules, scope, budget and risks for small-to-medium initiatives, escalating issues to the Project Lead as needed. Practical planning & delivery – create fit-for-purpose project artefacts and resource plans, ensuring cross-functional teams stay on track and dependencies are resolved. Regulatory & governance compliance – monitor relevant legislation and RAC standards, embedding simple processes to keep every project audit-ready. Stakeholder collaboration – build trusted relationships across business units, running workshops and updates that secure buy-in and informed decisions. Change & readiness support – partner with the Change team to coordinate comms, training, go-live and post-implementation activities for a smooth hand-over. Insightful reporting – prepare concise status packs and recommendations for Steering Committees, translating data into clear actions. Continuous improvement mindset – lead post-implementation reviews, capture lessons learned and champion smarter ways of working for future projects. What are we looking for in you? Qualifications in project management e.g. Prince2, Agile, MSP is highly desirable. Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline is mandatory. Experience in a project environment in an operational/service delivery environment is mandatory. Process-re-engineering and business improvement experience is desirable. Experience in waterfall and agile project methodologies is highly desirable. Travel to RAC locations and partners as required. Ability to work outside normal working hours to deliver a successful project is required. What can we offer you?
