Overview
Hours: 35 hours/week
Hours: Monday to Friday - 7 hours per day preferred
Wages: $25.05 - $27.70, on a 5-step wage grid

Summary
As a member of the Finance Team, the AP Clerk is responsible for the invoicing cycle from processing invoices, managing payments to vendors as well as cash management.

Duties and Responsibilities
Processing all payments and expenditures, including invoices, statements, etc.
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance
Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
Processing bi-weekly cheque run
Oversight and reconciliation of cash management system
Assisting Finance Administrator and Finance Manager as required
Qualifications
Experience
Minimum 1 years of demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable.
Skills and Abilities
Skilled at using Sage 50
Competent user of Microsoft excel
Potential for career progression within finance
Ability to work independently and contribute to the finance team
Effective time-management and organizational systems
Other
Requires Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check clearance
