Overview:
The Digital Software Developer has full stack experience and strong object-oriented programming skills to join our high-performing team and work with the latest technologies. This position will be responsible for developing and enhancing enterprise web applications. The requirements for these applications will come from product management through an agile SCRUM methodology in a very interactive decision making and development process.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, document, and modify software systems.
Write well designed, testable, efficient, maintainable code.
Work in a SCRUM environment as part of a small team.
Troubleshoot, debug, and fix errors in the software systems.
Support production operations of the working software systems.
Collaborate with stakeholders to discuss requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and project timelines.
Work across multiple Agile Scrum teams, learning the Online Banking process and improving both the front and backend systems while focusing on continuous improvement.
Create and maintain best practices and documentation for the organization.
Collaborate with the QA team and assist with testing.
Assist in creating user stories within JIRA and document progress. Develop custom code and API’s while working within a third-party Software Development Kit (SDK).
Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and support the broader organizational readiness strategy.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices, recommending enhancements to existing processes.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
3+ years of work experience as a software engineer developing web applications.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant work experience can be used as a replacement.
Certifications in Microservice Architecture, Node.js. Angular, Docker, AWS are preferred.
Knowledge of Jack Henry’s Symitar, Salesforce and Digital Banking systems is plus.
Proficient in Jira for building user stories and documenting workload.
Knowledge of mobile development (both iOS and Android).
Experience using relational databases, ideally through both SQL and ORM technologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on cross-departmental alignment.
Ability to influence and drive quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Work well as part of a team
Great communication skills.

Pay Grade Info:
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is: $73k-$91k annually.
