Overview:
As the Business Services Specialist at Premier America, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of Business Members. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our business products and services meet the highest standards and effectively serve our members and internal stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
The Business Services Specialist is responsible for conducting quality business products and services onboarding, received through various channels (direct & indirect) in a timely manner.
Provides exceptional service to members that have applied through various channels.
Responsible for developing new business relationships with decision makers, while establishing and maintaining the same relationships with our members, branches and contact center.
Maintains and increases the penetration of existing relationships to meet department goals, while maintaining high quality members, team-member satisfaction and retention.
Responsible for creating and maintaining workflow processes, addressing all inquiries received through various channels and cross-sells business services products and services.
The Business Services Specialist has a dimensional and critical role which provides maximum flexibility in our ability to meet our members’ needs. This role is responsible for establishing, developing, and retaining deep financial relationships with members, to help meet and exceed member and credit union goals, while providing excellent service.
This role requires a strong ability to communicate with prospective and current members professionally and effectively in a broad range of situations.
This role must possess knowledge of all Premier America business products and services and be able to explore member needs, listen for clues and provide solutions.
The Business Services Specialist serves as a brand ambassador in the community, and will establish, develop, retain and deepen long-term relationships with potential members and community organizations.
This role uses strong sales and service processes and skills to help strengthen and enhance the overall member experience and loyalty.
They are responsible for identifying members’ needs and cross-selling appropriate products and services, and service standard expectations.
This position is responsible for performing quality reviews to ensure business requirements are met.
The role also performs a full range of operational and account management transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
Five years to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A high school degree or equivalent
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Advanced writing skills with the ability to write for a specific audience using the proper English composition, style, structure, spelling and grammar clearly and concisely.
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to handle multiple changing priorities in a corporate environment.
Familiarity with credit union regulations, financial products, and services.
Strong listening, interviewing, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to conduct meetings, respond to questions and deliver formal presentations to all levels of the organization.
Advanced interpersonal skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable using text and pictures.
Advanced critical thinking skills sufficient to make decisions regarding project and daily work that is complex in nature.
Ability to independently establish priorities and meet project objectives.

Pay Grade Info:
To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all our job postings regardless of State. We set standard pay ranges for all roles based on function and level of expertise, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
The base pay range for this position is: $30 – $36/ hourly.
