Responsibilities The Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a hematologist who specializes in cellular therapies.
The Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology includes over fifty board-certified hematologists and physician scientists offering highly skilled, state-of-the-art care and cutting-edge research, including access to clinical trials, Blood & Marrow Transplant (BMT), Chimeric Antigen Receptor-T (CAR-T) cell therapy and other immune effector cell therapies. Additionally, the Mayo Clinic Enterprise Cellular, Molecular and Bispecifics (CMB) Group is a specialized multidisciplinary group of physicians and allied health staff across the three Mayo Clinic campuses in Minnesota, Arizona and Florida who support and care for patients who have received cellular therapies. Members comprise staff from Hematology, Medical Oncology Hematopathology, Radiation Oncology, Dermatology and Epidemiology.
The Division of Hematology/Medical Oncology is seeking a competitive candidate with a promising track record as a clinician and researcher. This track record would ideally document clear academic productivity in publications, clinical trials and/or emphasis on translational research. The position will require active participation in clinical duties, including the care of patients receiving CAR-T and other immune effector cell therapies. Leadership positions may be available depending on level of expertise and tenure.
Qualifications Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and eligible for state licensure in Arizona.
