Work Environment: This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area What you’ll do: Maintain regulatory compliance by planning, coordinating, and executing equipment and piping inspections in the assigned plant(s)/unit(s) Support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and engineering in meeting integrity, reliability, and maintenance targets Administer the Pressure Equipment Integrity Management (PEIM) program within the assigned units and liaise with regulatory jurisdictions Support the corrosion management plan with the intent of proactively preventing or detecting equipment integrity issues to reduce failures, minimize operating costs, and extend the life of Cenovus’ assets Who you are: Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements: Legally authorized to work in Canada Minimum 12 years of experience in oil & gas with a minimum of 5 years experience in equipment inspection and corrosion mitigation Red-seal Journeyman trade certification (i.e. Pipefitter, Welder, NDE Technologist) or a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) registered with ASET, or a Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) registered with either APEGS or APEGA API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector API 570 Piping Inspector TSASK Pressure Equipment Inspector, Class 1 or 2 We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement. As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines.
