We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and driven individual to lead our Electrical Department in the role of Electrician Supervisor at our Port Colborne, ON facility.
Tasks/Responsibilities
Lead the Electrical department and provide direction for daily tasks.
Ensure general compliance of electrical equipment and systems used for internal testing.
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Assemble electrical systems which include running conduit, pulling wires and terminating devices and panels.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Ensure compliance with various electrical codes and customer specifications.
Support team members by providing feedback and guidance.
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits.
Ensure proper clean up and operation of workstation/area.
Troubleshoot and repair internal equipment as necessary.
Maintain high safety standards and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
Always work safely as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the organizations’ policies and procedures.
Assist Assembly Technicians and Testers when required.
Perform additional duties as required.

Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Overtime as needed
Preferred Skills
Experience working with Rigid conduit
Experience running conduit/cable tray, pulling wires and terminating equipment
Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment
Experience using Microsoft Office
Requirements
Must have a valid 309A Journeyperson Electrician certification
Electrical: 3 years (preferred)
Strong knowledge of various electrical codes and standards
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, specifications and design layouts
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills and able to use a tape measure
