Our client, one of the big banks in Canada, is looking to hire several banking officers s to help support their team located in the downtown Edmonton area.
Please note - this role is 100% in office in the downtown Edmonton area - and operations on a Monday to Friday morning shift only.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Complete assigned tasks accurately and within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
Maintain confidentiality of client and company information, adhering to the employee Code of Conduct.
Manage long-term document control and electronic reporting for all applicable tasks.
Client & Team Support
Provide direct support to the Banking Centre and Broker Network to enhance the client experience.
Collaborate with leadership to regularly review SLA targets and ensure service standards are met.
Assist with special assignments and daily operational duties as directed by leadership.
Problem Solving & Process Improvement
Actively participate in resolving issues and outstanding items through critical thinking and teamwork.
Prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently, seeking support when needed.
Identify and recommend improvements to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
Knowledge Development & Onboarding
Build and apply knowledge of operational processes, manuals, and job aids.
Support the onboarding and training of new Banking Support Officers.
Teamwork & Professional Conduct
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and ethical work environment.
Communicate openly and honestly, taking accountability for actions and outcomes.
Assist with training initiatives and provide coverage during team absences.

Must Have Experience/Skills:
6+ Months of Professional Experience (School Groups, Internships, Bank Teller, Processing, Etc.)
Strong Excel Knowledge (Charts, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Etc.)
Strong Communication Skills (English - Written/Verbal)
