In collaboration with the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) and MedIT Departments, we are undergoing a transformation in Medical Education Information Technology (MEITT) to support a high-quality teaching and learning environment. This major project has a two-year implementation horizon and will result in an integrated Learner Management Platform for both the MD Program and PGME.
As the End User Coordinator, you will be working closely with the MEITT project team. You will provide front line customer service to our MD Program community as they interact with our primary online system for a variety of purposesincluding registration, assessment, evaluation and scheduling. You will support a diverse user base including learners, faculty and administrative staff, ensuring they can effectively navigate the platform. Utilizing your strong troubleshooting skills, you will respond to end-user service requests in a timely manner and escalate to technical specialists where needed. You will also be responsible for testing software and hardware, along with training end-users.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to end-user service requests in a timely fashion and escalating problems as required
- Applying established standards when resolving routine and documented end-user issues
- Providing detailed explanations on computing procedures
- Liaising with technical specialists to resolve end-user issues
- Generating reports
- Testing and analyzing new and upgraded software and/or hardware
- Training end-users on procedures and the use of supported IT systems
- Drafting and editing training content and supporting documentation
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience providing technical support for learner management platforms such as MedSIS, Canvas or comparable systems.
- Experience serving as a primary point of contact, managing and troubleshooting customer service requests
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering in-person and web-based training and providing comprehensive support to end-users
- Experience managing data and generating reports
- Advanced technical skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite and comparable registration and evaluation systems
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with a wide range of stakeholders
- Relentless attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
