The Structured Cabling Project Manager role at Paladin is a position created to oversee the more complex projects we have. These jobs include projects with significant project value or projects involving two or more departments. You will have control over assigned projects and is responsible for managing each project from initiation to close out. Though based in Vancouver, you may have to travel throughout the surrounding area depending on operational needs.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Setting up and facilitating project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Managing and controlling all communication and documentation as it relates to each project
Working with each department stakeholder for proper material procurement and resource allocations
Create master project schedule and effectively manage that schedule coordinating with all department stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met
Responsible for projecting and managing all cost related to the project and reporting to the project management Director
Responsible for all billing, making sure the customer format and language is followed in both an accurate and timely fashion
Will possess or acquire a fundamental understanding of Data system functionality and installation process and techniques.
Regularly inspect installation work performed by staff and/or subcontractors.
Coordinate and/or provide training to client.
Coordinate turn-over of project to service department at the end of each project.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 - 8 years of Structured Cabling Project Management experience.
Previous experience managing large, construction projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software.
Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines
Valid drivers license with acceptable record.
Minimum 5 years driving experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous sales, estimating, or design experience
Post-secondary education from an engineering technology program (controls and instrumentation, electronics, electrical, etc.)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including, but not limited to; engineering and architectural drawings, schedules, test reports, or commissioning documents.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools will be required to effectively perform this position. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and may be required to work at heights over 1.8m (6 feet).

Pay: $70,356 - $108,658 DOE
