Job DescriptionThe Public Markets Middle Office PnL team is accountable for ensuring all derivative based strategies are executed in an effective and efficient manner, from trade execution to maturity. The team is cross-asset and responsible for the reconciliation and reporting of PnL for all strategies within public markets. Additionally, the team also provide support for setup and maintenance of rate curves that are used for the valuation of all derivative products.Job SummaryAs a Senior Analyst, Investment Operations you will support either the public or private Investment teams with transaction management, asset servicing, investment accounting, reporting and valuations. You will also assist with the day-to-day evaluation, accounting, and monitoring of relevant investment portfolios, covering all asset classes and security types.This is a 12-month secondment role.Accountabilities:Partner with colleagues from the Investment Departments, Finance, Legal, and Risk to assist in investment closings through documentation review, system setups, transaction entries and settlements.Assist in daily trading and deal activity to facilitate settlement and cash related events.Support and manage lifecycle of transactions and deal pipeline and asset servicing; ensure investments are accurately always represented, track upcoming activity, reconcile records, and process activities.Assist in processing complex investments with the ability to understand impact on trading, portfolio construction, reporting and performance.Assist in the quarterly/ monthly valuation review; ensure valuation adjustments are accurately recorded and bring any errors/ inconsistencies to management’s attention. Provide insightful valuation analysis.Identify and promptly escalate irregular activities or issues and assist management in determining corrective action.Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.Continually strive for operational excellence; seek ways to streamline processes and create operational efficiencies.
