Our Specialty Personal Insurance team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their team! This role will be responsible for the end-the-end management of specific Lifestyle products ensuring the value proposition is profitable, relevant and competitive for Aviva Canada. What you'll do: Manage the product value proposition end-to-end delivering on all business KPIs including profitability, new business and retention targets Work with MGAs and Distribution to promote the Lifestyle product value proposition to key Brokers via training, communications, business planning and business development Support the larger SPI ecosystem by developing initiatives, performing analyses, and driving actions working closely with Underwriting, Pricing, Claims, Systems, Operations and Distribution Act as a Product lead for the PI transformation initiative, supporting the overall product strategy working with key partners across Aviva and externally with MGA partners Work within Aviva’s product governance framework to support optimization and conversion of existing products, retirement of products and development of new products Manage risk events from start to finish as they arise, working with other team members to implement mitigation actions and corrective measures until closure Work with Marketing to develop marketing plans, communications and other initiatives to drive new business and retention targets Lead the planning and development of product reviews and make recommendations to improve or retire products where applicable Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of actions resulting from the recommendations of the post-launch product reviews and/or ad-hoc product initiatives Assess competitive information by proactively keeping on top of the latest customer, industry and competitive trends What you'll bring: Undergraduate degree in business or other related field, or equivalent experience Minimum 10 years of experience with personal P&C insurance Experience with any of Aviva’s Lifestyle product suite especially Cottage, Motorhomes and Trailers Candidates with prior experience in product development/product management preferred Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and/or the regulatory environment is preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external partners Focused and organized – strong project management skills with a high attention to detail Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess both quantitative and qualitative data points Ability to summarize key insights and recommendations to key partners including senior management Ability to independently research and engage external parties to assess product opportunities What you’ll get: Compelling rewards package including base compensation, eligibility for annual bonus, retirement savings, share plan, health benefits, personal wellness, and volunteer opportunities.
