Job Description: Restores, maintains and enhances the recovery of clients seeking help for addiction and/or addiction related impacts by implementing various modalities of addiction recovery programs.

Knowledge in co-current disorders and issues related to gambling addictions
Knowledge in Transtheoretical model of change
Knowledge in development model of recovery (SMRS)
Knowledge of educational/behavioural interventions/consultations
Knowledge of chemical dependency/co-dependency and effect on the family unit.
Knowledge in best practices in addictions and harm reduction strategies
Knowledge in addictions screening, assessment tools and procedures
Ability to work independently
Ability to respond under pressure.
Knowledge of the Child and Family Service's Act
