This position reports directly to the Retail Store and Taproom Supervisor and offers a starting wage of $21.22 per hour. RESPONSIBILITIES: Front line customer service for external customers as well as Sleeman Employees Processing beer sales for all customers (internal and external) Inventory management in the retail store, including beer, clothing items, mugs, glasses, etc. Assist customers in the delivery of cases of beer and kegs to customer’s vehicles if requested Process all purchases made and balance the till Perform opening and closing duties Conduct plant tours for external customers Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and in person Provide exceptional customer service Adhere to the food safety required as per job duties and report non-conformities Complete Home Beer Deliveries through our Retail Outlet Empties collection and reconciliation Serving patrons in taproom and patio REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 19 years of age or older Strong interpersonal /customer service skills to provide a superior Sleeman’s branded experience for our employees and external customers Excellent communication and public speaking skills are required Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time Ability to lift upwards to 160 lbs 1 year cash-handling and key-holder experience, preferably in food & beverage industry is strongly preferred Lowlift operation required, in-house training and certification will be provided Must have a valid Smart Serve Certificate Previous experience working in a retail, customer service role is strongly preferred Team player as well as the ability to work independently as need be Digital Media experience an asset Valid Class G driver’s license and clean driving record Think you have what we need, but your credentials don’t perfectly line up?
