The performance of the duties must ensure a quality service approach to all employees, customers and suppliers. All responsibilities must be performed in a manner consistent with the Farm Boy Way.Major Responsibilities:Actively participate in the design and implementation of Farm Boy’s continuously evolving network and cyber security structure.Responsible for installation, configuration, and support of network devices such as: switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, network ports, paging and telecommunication system, and UPS systems.Conduct installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrading of server hardware/software.Responsible for installation, configuration, and support of wireless system including: creation and management of VLANs, secure guest access and correct deployment of access points.Create and maintain accurate documentation of processes and procedures.Monitor and address end-point vulnerabilities using vulnerability management software.Deploy company approved software remotely using package deployment tools.Troubleshooting systems, configurations, and hardware in a time critical environment.Work with third party vendors and service providers to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems, and make improvements to the IT environment.Mentor and train junior team members.Provide technical support for end users both at corporate and store level.Provide 24/7 escalation support for IT network and systems.May be requested to undertake other related duties on a periodic basis.QualificationsTypically requires completion of post-secondary education in Technology or related discipline plus a minimum of 3 years of IT related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Technical proficiency and knowledge of LAN/WAN/SDWAN technology and associated software and hardware such as firewalls, routers and switches required.Experience with network troubleshooting and common cyber security tools.Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.Superior analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team environment.Strong customer service skills and positive attitude with a desire to learn new technologies, processes and take on new challenges.Ability to perform quick EDR support using Next-Gen AV suites.Experience with Email filtering security.Technical knowledge of Network Security, Active Directory and Group Policy, MS Office 365, VPN, Antivirus, Cloud/Onsite Backup Solutions, Vulnerability Assessment Tools, DNS Filtering, PowerShell, and various Server Operating Systems.Work & Sensory Environment:Part of a 24/7 on-call rotation work schedule.May be required to sit for long periods of time at workstation.May be required to lift objects up to 50 lbs.Providing service to several people or departments, working under many simultaneous deadlines.Possible exposure to eye strain from computer terminals.Must have access to a reliable vehicle to be able to travel to different sites, on occasion.Additional InformationDCTORAccommodation is available upon request for applicants and employees with disabilities.
