Responsibilities
Efficiently receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
Inspecting parts upon receipt, and cataloguing/generating parts numbers
Monitor and maintain stock levels and keep detailed inventory records
Place orders for parts to ensure adequate supply and minimize shortages
Entering parts information into applicable systems for tracking
Conducting inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain parts storage integrity
Take ownership of the organization, cleanliness, and storage of the parts area to enhance operational efficiency
Adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Ensure that back-ordered parts are delivered promptly to fill orders and communicate updates to the appropriate individuals
Support on planning/scheduling coordination through strong storeroom practices
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in storeroom environment, or similar
Parts Technician Ticket
Proficient in navigation and optimization of asset management systems
Experience with MS tools and asset management software, such as SAP
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is considered an asset
Physical demands and working conditions:
Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds
Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping
Completing Safety, Quality/Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area
