We are seeking a highly skilled iOS Developer to join our Montreal-based client for a 6-month contractual role. As an iOS Developer specializing in Swift, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
This is a contractual hybrid role for a period of 6 months, with the potential for extension. The candidate must work from the Montreal office 2 days/ week.
Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design and implement advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift.
Feature Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate new features, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
Code Optimization: Conduct code reviews and optimize application performance, ensuring efficient memory management and responsiveness.
Bug Fixing: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to enhance application performance.
UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with the design team to implement user-friendly interfaces and improve user experience.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance development processes.
Testing and Deployment: Conduct testing of applications to ensure reliability and work on deploying app updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience as an IOS Developer.
Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
Proficiency in Swift and iOS frameworks.
Experience with RESTful APIs and mobile development lifecycle.
Strong understanding of MVC and MVVM architecture patterns.
Familiarity with Git for version control.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
