Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Yard and Warehouse Operations Specialist to support daily operations in our Stainless Steel Division. This hands-on role involves overseeing material flow in the yard and warehouse, maintaining equipment and cleanliness, and ensuring safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial or recycling environments.What you're responsible for:Safely operating forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment to move and organize stainless steel materialsSorting, grading, and identifying stainless steel and specialty alloys according to company standardsLoading and unloading trucks with accuracy and efficiencyMaintaining the yard and warehouse layout to ensure a clean, organized, and safe environmentAssisting with inventory control and tagging of materialsConducting daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needsCollaborating with supervisors, scale house, and logistics teams to meet daily operational goalsAdhering to all safety protocols and company policies at all timesQualificationsWhat we offer:You have a high school diploma or equivalent requiredYou have 2+ years of experience in a yard, warehouse, or industrial operations environmentYou have experience handling stainless steel or scrap metals is a strong assetYou have a forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) requiredYou have the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyYou have strong organizational and communication skillsYou have a proactive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and efficiency
