Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description How will you make an impact? Handle commercial customer order activities, from receipt of purchase order/request through to shipment of finished goods, increasing operating efficiencies and customer service. Provide clients with timely and accurate reporting of the status of customer orders using delivery schedules and takes corrective actions to mitigate any late deliveries. Create and maintain the production plan in SAP system based on available production capacity (both Machine and Labour). This is a fully onsite role. What will you do: Monitor client orders through receipt to shipment and invoicing; follow up with internal teams to ensure performance to On Time Delivery in Full (OTIF). Act as voice of the customer at the site, highlighting, mitigating, and managing delivery risks, escalations, and stock outs. Create and maintain master data, i.e., Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings and other customer related data in SAP. Receive Firm Purchase Orders (POs) from customers, in accordance to forecast and site Sales and Operation plan (S&OP), confirms completeness and communicates confirmation information to client. Review bulk and semi-finished materials before accepting and planning new orders. Recognize un-forecasted orders and perform assessments prior to order acceptance including negotiating appropriate delivery dates with customer Coordinate with client & support teams to ensure document readiness & material availability prior to production, and on time release. Coordinate client requirements such as Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) requirements with Business Managers (BMs) and buyers Coordinate client requirements with internal teams, i.e. Procurement, Production, Quality, Process/Package Engineering. Mitigate any outstanding issues impacting production or release of product with client. Participate in and facilitate various site operational meetings and chairs/attends weekly client calls. Facilitate customer order revisions and cancellations. Coordinate customer order releases and timely shipments from the plant. Monitor and report weekly and monthly OTIF performance and client metrics. Balance and adjust production plan as appropriate to enhance on time delivery and production efficiencies, with focus on resolution of client conflicts on shared constrained equipment. Coordinate extra sampling/ shipping requests. Review various reports including Expiry report to minimize obsolescence, ensure accurate planning for reduction of planned orders, and timely shipments of product to control inventory. Strong focus on customer forecast and inventory Support business review meetings, creating meaningful metrics, providing feedback on opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and support site objectives. Maintain a safe working environment and reports potential hazards. How will you get here: Education: College/Technical School diploma in Materials Management or related business field. BSc in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar business field preferred. Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM/APICS) CPIM/CSCP or similar certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years of previous client related, manufacturing planning or scheduling experience using SAP or equivalent “Business Planning Tools” preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment. Equivalency: Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong client service orientation, and business perspective skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral). Ability to create metrics for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting. Strong negotiations skills. Detail oriented with the ability to quickly analyze complex problems and propose solutions. Ability to balance and handle changing priorities. Works autonomously under general direction to meet project and team objectives. Proficient in Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint and Advanced Excel). Proficiency with the English language.
