We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Montreal-based client for a permanent role. By working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will be responsible for defining business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for the IT team. As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving our business forward by improving processes, products, and services through data analysis.
This is a hybrid role, and the candidate must work from the Montreal office 3 days/ week.
Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the IT team.
Reporting: Develop clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Wireframe Development: Design and create detailed wireframes to visually represent user interfaces and workflows, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions.
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
Project Management: Assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify industry trends and benchmark company performance against competitors.
Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.
Dynamic and detail-oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
Knowledge of business process modeling techniques.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
