The Global Analytics & Insight (GA&I) mission is to improve the quality of decisions taken on our oncology assets, through the creation and delivery of excellent market, customer, and competitor analytics. This role is based in our Oncology team, where you’ll lead the advanced analytics and support with insights, for our BiSpecifics portfolio. The key to excelling in this role is your ability to execute deep analytics, at fast pace, while never losing sight of the larger, business objectives at hand. You’ll be executing primary and EMR data analytics, and partnering with peers on insight generation (designing and synthesising market research). You’ll be a critical thinker capable of delivering well researched, verified, and relevant analyses in a clear and impactful way. This requires the ability to lead without authority, alongside strong analytical and communication skills – which means being able to explain advanced analytics and interpretation to a non-technical audience, to inform strategic business decisions. You will be comfortable formulating cohesive, strategic arguments which may be used to respectfully challenge a group of experts. In addition, you need to be resourceful, motivated, decisive and proactive. You must be able to prioritise in a fast-growing organization and be confident working with incomplete data. Accountabilities: Perform hands-on analysis of complex datasets, including electronic medical records, claims data, and quantitative survey raw data, applying critical thinking to uncover hidden potential within data Combine strong data expertise with strategic acumen - to ask the right questions and generate actionable insights to inform strategic decisions Be part of the team designing strategy-shaping qualitative and quantitative market research – to build our deep customer understanding Be part of the insights synthesis team – connecting dots and looking for patterns / disconnects between all our analytics and primary market research materials Possess or develop deep tumour knowledge – becoming an expert in your designated tumours (which may include lung, meso, BTC, HCC, or HNSCC) Essential skills/experience: Bachelor’s degree in science, mathematics or data-related field 3 years relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consultancy or investment bank SQL: Strong ability to query and manage large datasets efficiently Programming Skills: Proficient in R and Python for data analysis, modelling, and automation. Demonstrated ability to work with real-world datasets such as Flatiron, IQVIA, Optum Oncology experience Desirable skills/experience: Advanced degree (e.g, MBA, PhD) Qualitative and quantitative market research experience Commercial brand strategy experience The annual base pay for this position ranges from $181,503 to $272,255. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles).
