As the Senior Analyst, Treasury, you will be responsible to perform daily treasury operation activities, forecast short-term liquidity, and participate in process improvement and information systems projects. Prepare daily cash position for all legal entities and explain variances, ensure funding of all accounts Analyze cash flow trending and prepare short-term liquidity forecast, including currency decisions and recommendations to optimize liquidity and minimize idle cash. Initiate and diligently monitor treasury payment transactions for timely release. Support key financing transactions activities and intercompany funding transfers Take an active role in the implementation of cash management services, including opening new bank accounts, cash management services, and support branch openings/relocations. Support GIC Deposit administration activities Act as a champion in the automation of our models and systems leveraging Adaptive Insight and Power BI tools and work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our processes and controls. Develop and maintain treasury management reports, dashboards, presentations, and financial models. Act as the point of contact between treasury, bank reconciliation team, security/compliance, and our branch and retail services operations for all treasury matters, support investigations, and resolve day-to-day issues with financial institutions Act as a champion for our treasury management system solutions, support upgrades of our ERP system Workday (banking module) and implementation of treasury management system solutions. Work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve our processes and controls Ensure process documentation governing area of responsibility is compliant with all corporate and regulatory policies/standards and provide support for internal controls and audit activities Maintain up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and practices WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or Mathematics, or Accounting (or equivalent) with 2 to 4 years’ experience in treasury management, financial services industry or financial analysis. You adapt and learn quickly and have strong computer skills: Advanced Visual Basic in Excel, Workday, Power BI You have excellent organizational skills, you are autonomous, able to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines You embody excellent customer service level and are recognized for being a great team player with a positive an collaborative mindset Fluency in English is required, as the role involves daily communication with branches and external partners across Canada.
