The Coordinator, Food and Beverage exemplifies our culture of creating revolutionary guest experiences and contributes positively toward uniting the team around purpose and fun. The purpose of this role is to provide general administrative support to the Food and Beverage Division, as well as our internal and external guests. WHAT WILL I BE DOING? Collaborates with the business unit leaders to create staff schedules in scheduling software. Develops Purchase Orders on behalf of departmental leaders, tracks invoices and updates Manager on costs. Provides administrative support during meeting – takes notes, prepares agenda, circulates agenda; Create and distribute F&B wide communication from Division. Produces regular and on demand reports. Examples of reports include guarantee sheets, BEOs, absenteeism, labour costs, inventory, and numerous weekly sales reports. Supports leadership in investigating cash discrepancies in BU, as required, and provides info to leaders for follow up with the employee; tracks and completes MEO billing. Works daily to assist the departmental managers and assistant manager with administrative tasks associated with Onboarding, Time and Attendance, Scheduling, Payroll, Recipe Creation, and other various administrative duties. As required, assists in inventory management, for example: completing monthly counts. As required, assists with onsite groups/guests. Is aware of and is compliant with the standards and tactics of the business unit as directed by their leaders through training and coaching. Provides feedback to leadership that influences the planning for future seasons. Understands departmental service standards, is receptive of training and communication to create revolutionary guest experiences and achieve departmental goals. Skillfully uses available resources, training and communication channels to achieve a highly productive, efficient environment with minimal downtime that produces high quality product(s) and service(s). Participates in programming and training that unites employees around purpose and fun and therefore results in high employee satisfaction and engagement within their department. Embraces and actively participates in a culture of teamwork between all employees that achieves the department's targets. Participates in programming and training that ensures compliance with all legislated requirements and company policies and processes. Participates in and adheres to all compulsory training provided, as mandated by government agencies pertaining to risk and safety. Follows Crisis Management direction/plan, as designed by Crisis Committee and/or Risk Management Team. WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME? High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate or advanced level knowledge of internet software, spreadsheet software (Excel) and Word Processing software (Word); plus, some knowledge of catering software (Delphi) & digital signage program(s), POS, and Workday Time and Attendance. Requires practical knowledge specific to their job area and is receptive to feedback from leadership to further their own growth and expertise. Requires post secondary education or equivalent experience and 2 or more years.* some exceptions may apply.
