About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Product Marketing Manager responsible for helping others understand the value, both technically and commercially, of Kaseya’s backup and recovery solutions. This role will be responsible for translating product capabilities into compelling customer value, enabling our sales teams, and driving market awareness and adoption. The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and experience positioning complex B2B solutions in a highly competitive environment.
Perhaps the most important function will be to grasp how our products can help Manage Service Provider (MSP) and Internal IT buyers solve their data backup and recovery challenges, and with that, create compelling messages and content around our value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and own positioning, messaging, and value propositions for one or more products
Partner with Product Management to understand product roadmaps and translate technical features into business benefits for different customer segments.
Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches and key initiatives, collaborating with demand generation, content, and sales enablement teams.
Create and manage high-impact sales tools and marketing assets, including pitch decks, battlecards, case studies, product briefs, and competitive intelligence.
Conduct customer and market research to understand buyer needs, preferences, and pain points; use insights to refine messaging and campaign targeting.
Act as a product evangelist internally and externally—contributing to webinars, events, training, and thought leadership content.
Support demand generation with product-focused campaign strategy, messaging, and content.
Collaborate closely with sales enablement to ensure teams are trained and equipped with tools that drive engagement and conversion.
Position Requirements Include:
5+ years of marketing or product marketing experience. Those without marketing experience, but who are motivated and have related product or sales engineering experience, are also encouraged to apply.
Proven success in crafting messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with technical and business audiences.
Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to simplify complex concepts and tailor messages by persona and channel.
Must be comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools (ie, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Salesforce)
Hands-on experience hosting external webinars and demonstrations, as well as internal presentations and sales training
Excellent project management skills to allow for timely planning, execution and reporting on multiple projects, and the ability to perform in fast-paced and high-energy environment.
Creativity and strategic thinking to test, rapidly iterate, and take calculated risks.
Establishing clear goals and measurements. Consistently aligns resources to goals; accepts mistakes and course corrects quickly. Demonstrated ability to leverage data (dashboards, organizational KPI’s) to drive ROI.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a Technical discipline
Certifications from Pragmatic Institute or Product Marketing Alliance a plus.
Occasional travel may be required for industry and company events
Strong Plus If You Have Experience In:
Direct knowledge or experience with backup and recovery / data protection solutions (or adjacent technologies)
Familiarity with competitive products (examples: Veeam, Rubrik, Commvault, Axcient)
