Business Development Representative
VersaFile is a fast-growing software company that specializes in attachment and data archiving solutions for SAP, SuccessFactors and other Enterprise Software applications, seamlessly integrating with a variety of document management systems. Position Overview:
Are you a natural prospector who thrives at the intersection of structure and experimentation? If you’re excited about building pipeline, refining messaging, and opening doors at large accounts—this is your moment. We’re looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who can blend proven enterprise sales tactics with a test-and-learn mindset. You will be someone who excels in agile, test-and-learn GTM strategies, driving early-stage engagement with large accounts.
This role is deeply collaborative and you'll work alongside:
A Research Analyst sourcing high-quality contacts and account intelligence
A Marketing Coordinator running events, ads, and Account-based content
A Sales and Marketing Leadership Team who's committed to your success.
Location: This is a hybrid role, working 2 days in the Vancouver Gastown office and the other 3 days from home.
What You'll Do:
Fuel Our Pipeline with Precision and Creativity
Own outbound outreach to enterprise prospects through a smart mix of phone, email, and LinkedIn
Tap into curated lead lists and account insights provided by our dedicated research team
Continuously A/B test your messaging to find what sticks—and scale what works
Partner with Marketing for Maximum Impact
Align with marketing to amplify campaigns through coordinated outbound
Follow up quickly on inbound leads and engagement spikes
Share feedback on what’s resonating (and what’s not) to optimize campaigns

Help run GTM experiments to test new channels, angles, and strategies
Feed your findings back into the team—your insights shape our strategy

What You'll Bring:
2–3 years of BDR/SDR experience, ideally in enterprise software or SaaS
Confidence prospecting into large, complex accounts (SAP ecosystem? Even better.)
Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (especially over the phone)
Clear, compelling communication and a professional presence
A proactive, curious attitude—you’re energized by learning and experimentation
Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, agile environment
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) or outbound programs targeting large enterprises
Experience using AI or automation tools for prospecting and personalization
Participation in go-to-market testing initiatives or collaborative GTM pods
