What the job entails:
Job Duties:s
Perform diagnostics, pre- inspections, and troubleshoot all our light duty to heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulic, and other mechanical components.
Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Work well and fit in with our existing team members to solve complex mechanical issues.
Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
What you bring to the table:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Red Seal certification or equivalent in Heavy Duty Mechanic/Truck & Transport Technician, will look at someone with the right mix of knowledge and experience
Experience welding and light fabrication, wiring and hydraulics both on trucks and trailers
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Experience using different diagnostic tools and techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of safety procedures and adherence to safety standards
