You’ll be at the heart of CIBC’s integration transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale Micro Service enabled projects involving multiple back-end and front end systems. As an Application Consultant, you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience across both traditional ESB and API/MSA platforms. This role will provide strategic alignment between business, architecture and technology teams and leads the overall solution design, oversees development of cross-functional systems, guidance and thought leadership in the solution development to ensure the technology used and solutions are aligned with the overall CIBC technology, business strategies, roadmaps and industry trends. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How You’ll Succeed Develop & Design - Lead the design and development of specifications, develop and build code, perform code reviews, test, debug, document, and manage changes to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of programs. Delivery - Coordinate delivery of complex application programming activities. Lead and manage the delivery of projects in a fast paced integration environment. Leadership Skills - Act as the delivery team lead and assess cross team impact to ensure the project is on track to meet objectives. Support and mentor intermediate and senior team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
