Position Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Cleaning Attendant and be a key contributor to creating a warm, clean, and inviting atmosphere that enriches the lives of our team members and community. If you're passionate about fitness, cleanliness & excited about delivering exceptional customer service driven by a shared purpose, we want you on board.
Schedule Requirements:
- Monday-Thursday: 4pm-8pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 10am-2pm
Responsibilities:
Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
Dust/vacuum machine, cardio & weight equipment
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, such as hallways and lobbies
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor
Adhere to health and safety regulations
Additional duties upon request of manager
Cleaning Attendant will be fully trained to work at our front desk in assisting customers with requests, signing up memberships & other basic tasks required.
Experience:
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools used in custodial work
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required
Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
Customer service-oriented mindset
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-oriented position, preferably in a similar industry.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to exceeding expectations.
CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Prolonged standing and walking required for daily duties.
