They are the cornerstone of our company, supporting our vision, shaping our culture and establishing our future direction.Job DescriptionAs an Export Vessel Operations Representative you will be responsible for ensuring effective operations for all vessels and terminals across our East Coast Canadian Ports and to ensure efficient export of our customers' containers. This is accomplished by adhering to rail and terminal cut-offs and by creating, and providing highly accurate reporting to various stakeholders, all while continuously providing an excellent customer experience for both internal and external clients/colleagues in every written and verbal communication.?KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES? Act as a liaison between the different MSC Agencies and Port Terminals and handle all inquiries.Manage all container holds & pick-ups as per Customer and/or CBSA Customs requests.Create daily Vessel Forecast Reports and send them to the different Port Terminals.Perform cargo cleanings of vessels for Rail and Port Terminal by reducing, rolling, and cancelling bookings.Conduct daily booking & container comparisons between the Port Terminal load lists and MSC system for each Vessel.Finalize and generate Export Hazardous container manifests.Submit Export Hazardous Manifests to the Port Terminals, Port of Montreal, and Vessel Captains.Submit manual rail billing for Domestic and Hazardous containers.Create vessel routings.Finalize the loading list/OBL at Terminal cut-off date and send it to the Terminals and MSC Vessel Planners.Ensure the OBL is within the cargo allocation for every Vessel.Reconcile any discrepancies between the final Port Terminal load list and MSC system after vessel sailing.Create and finalize the VCI reports after vessel sailingQualificationsAll MSC Canada employees are expected to exhibit the MSC Values, striving to drive customer centric results in all interactions with colleagues and customers alike.?? Minimum of 2 years experience.?(An asset)Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Bilingual (French and English) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must use English to work with customers located internationally and in other Canadian provinces.Must use English to work with suppliers located internationally and in other Canadian provinces.Must report in English to MSC Head Office located in Geneva.Must communicate in English with other MSC offices located in Vancouver, Halifax and Toronto.
